Exam preparation courses that are specific to New Zealand best practice are very limited. In particular General Practice trainees currently often utilise overseas resources that may not fit New Zealand national guidance. MedMCQ is an important addition to available resources.

In line with GP educational needs, the questions are designed to improve diagnosis and management of common conditions in General Practice. We have developed this unique resource with reference to national and international guidelines as well as other expert sources. All of our questions are individually referenced to enable you to quickly access the relevant material for your learning. Please let us know if you are having an issue with any of the links!

We conduct a full review of all questions and references annually to ensure we are consistent with clinical updates and/or funding changes. In addition we do opportunistic updating throughout the year if new guidelines are introduced. We also appreciate user feedback if you feel we have missed an important change in practice or want to clarify a source.

At this point we are not linked to CPD accreditation however this may be an option in future. Please also note that MedMCQ is not affiliated with RNZCGP.
